As explained earlier, measure the true total width of the 2 centrals intraorally or on a model. Once you import the ruler into keynote or any other program, bring it to scale on a photo of the incisors by manipulating it (stretch or squeeze) to match the known width of the centrals. I hope that helps.

Please tell me how you can get the digital ruler into Keynote, because if taken from the internet it is not to scale.

@Sean Peng He imports a photo a ruler and calibrates it to a known dimention . Best is the distance between the distals of the two central incisors because they will be in all photos and they will be most of the times in the same sagital plane.

Very nice thank you for the presentation. I have a question.
Digital photography is a 2 plane method and we miss the 3rd dimension. Meaning that you can tilt left and right the intraoral photograph on the extraoral photograph but you cannot be in the same horizontal plane in every photo and that is problem of anqulation of the photo camera. They have to be in exact same angulation. Unless you got a way to overcome this the measuring and the treatment planning alters acording to the (up and down) anqulation of the camera. How do you overcome this problem?
Thank you once again
Dimitris

I have enjoyed Christian Coachman's webinar because he is making a major contribution in esthetic treatment planning. He makes it really simple and I am so proud of his 4 years in our office and the progress he is continuing to make.
