Dr. Anastasia Cholakis is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, a member of the Canadian Dental Association, the Canadian Academy of Periodontics and the American Academy of Periodontics. She is an Associate professor and Director of the Graduate Periodontal Program at the University of Manitoba. Dr. Cholakis has received numerous teaching awards as well as the Dean's award for Academic Excellence in 2011. She currently lectures nationally and internationally and has published articles in peer reviewed journals as well as a textbook chapter.
